Acclaimed artist Namita Jain’s new exhibition entitled “Glimpse of Vibrant Rajasthan” will open on  27th October at Bhavan Centre at West Kensington in London. This is Namita’s third solo exhibition of painting with Rajasthan as the theme subject. The earlier exhibitions were held in 2005 and 2009. The exhibition, which is part of Asian Art Week London 2014,  will last till Nov 2014.

“Rajasthan is a very inspiring place- people live life to the fullest and happily in the most trying and testing conditions for human being,” Namita told Asian Lite. “The style, colours, textile and culture is very enthralling and unique.

“My stay in Rajasthan for two weeks in 2000 sowed the seeds and laid the foundation for most of the artwork I have done in my short career as professional painting artist in the UK for the past 10 years.  I love using fresh bright colours and applying different techniques with thin and thick palette knife and mixed media collage artwork such as handmade paper, ink pen, fabrics, beads with a bend of oils and acrylics.
