The Off-Broadway Indian Musical ‘The Rajah’s Son & Princess Labam’ held a special preview at the Annual Diwali Dinner Dance gala hosted by Manisha Beriwala – Darbaar-e-Diwali in New York.
Nishi Rajan, who has written and directed this musical, introduced and performed select scenes and songs from the Off-Broadway musical with six of her co-stars to include Noa Carmel, Saim Hyder, Hemang Sharma, Alan Gonzalez, Jeremiah Jurkiewicz and Anna Bredikhina.
A tale of soulmates set in ancient India, the musical tells the story of the young Rajah’s son Prince Kiran who journeys from his kingdom to find his childhood sweetheart, Princess Labam. Together, the two defeat the evil demon gods Durga and Dharmendra and save the kingdoms of India.
The Rajah’s Son & Princess Labam will open November 7th at the Medicine Show Theatre in New York City. The musical will run for 6-nights only Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm from November 7th through November 22nd.

Tickets are limited to 60-advance sales only. Tickets are $25 advance and $35 at the door. An additional 15 seats will remain open for sale at the door but are also limited. Guests are advised to purchase in advance as this event is anticipated to sell out for all 6 nights.
