Chinese Premier Li Keqiang holds a welcoming ceremony for Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah before their talks in Beijing, capital of China,

Kuwaiti Prime Minister HH Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah and the delegation accompanying him. Upon arriving at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Sheikh Jaber and his host shook hands with a number of Chinese ministers and high-ranking officials.

After reviewing an honor guard and listening to both countries’ national anthems, Sheikh Jaber retired to the East Room of the Great Hall of the People where he held talks with his Chinese counterpart. The talks were cordial and dealt with boosting bilateral relations in various fields of common interest as well as regional and international issues. In the presence of both prime ministers, a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed. Following the talks, the Kuwaiti prime minister and his delegation were invited to a dinner banquet in the West Room of the Grand Hall of the People.
