Good news for all those foodies in Manchester.
Come Autumn, the city’s dining out scene will usher in ARIL Group’s Asha Indian restaurant. According to sources, Bollywood singing star Asha Bhosle, the inspiration behind the restaurant, will attend the launch party.
The menu will include contemporary pan-Indian cooking alongside a modern cocktail menu and selected wine list.
The Manchester Asha’s will be a huge 6,000 square foot restaurant and bar over two floors on Peter Street, reported Manchester Evening News.
Asha, herself a noted cook opened her first restaurant in Dubai in 2002. Since then, the brand has spread across the Middle East, but the only UK branch currently is in Birmingham, reports M.E.N.
According to Peter Warden, the general manager of ARIL Group, the company’s tenth Asha’s around the world and for the Manchester venue, it has taken a “major leap forward in the evolution of the brand”.
