Two children and an adult were killed in a fire at a mobile home site in Surrey, southeastern England, police said Tuesday.
Surrey Police said they received reports that a mobile home was on fire and attended to the site, off West Park Road in Newchapel, a small town in Surrey at about 1.45 a.m. Tuesday morning, Xinhua reported.
“Sadly, three people, believed to be an adult and two children, have been declared dead at the scene,” Surrey Police said.
It said another man and a child were also treated for burn injuries at the location, and the child was sent to a local hospital later.
The scene is still cordoned off while a joint police and fire service investigation has been launched.
