The sixth generation of an illustrious Bangash lineage, Amjad Ali Khan is a renowned maestro of the sarod. The ‘Indian string superstar’ (The Times-Picayune) is celebrated both internationally and at home, and in 2001 was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, one of the highest Indian civilian awards.

This concert is a special chance to see Amjad Ali Kahn in one of only a few shows in the UK. Appearing with his two sons, both virtuosos in their own right, Amjad Ali Khan’s skill in classical Indian music and delicate and expressive performance will make this a night to remember.
