The Ajman Palace Hotel & Resort appoints Indian national Deepak Dahiya as its new Director of Sales & Marketing, says a press release.Dahiya is tasked with driving new business into Ajman’s first five-star certified hotel, The Ajman Palace Hotel & Resort – is managed by HMH-Hospitality Management Holdings.
Deepak joins The Ajman Palace Hotel & Resort from the Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa where he held the post of Director of Sales & Marketing, following a five-year stint with the Gold Swiss Belhotel Dubai where he headed sales and marketing for the hotel launch and then took it through a rebranding to Mercure.
Deepak gained a Professional Diploma in Hotel Management from the New Delhi Institute of Hotel Management before going on to secure a BA and then Masters in Business Administration. In addition, he has got a number of certificates from prestigious institutes such as Cornell University: School of Hotel Administration and Princeton Global Network, USA among others.
Deepak began his career in the hospitality sector at the Sofitel Surya before joining the Holiday Inn Bangalore where he honed his sales and marketing skills. He moved to Dubai in 1999, gaining outstanding experience at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Habtoor Hospitality. Ajman is growing in stature as a business and leisure destination, and The Ajman Palace Hotel & Resort is well placed to capitalize on this growth with outstanding leisure and corporate facilities and services. With Deepak on board to strengthen the sales and marketing team, the hotel will be growing its share of both regional and international markets.
