Fifteen Asian workers were killed in Dubai when the bus they were travelling rammed into a parked truck on a road shoulder.
Thirteen others were injured. The bus was carrying 29 workers when it hit the truck.
According to a statement issued by Dubai Police, 10 of the injured were rushed to Rashid Hospital and six others to Al Barah Hospital. Two of the injured died shortly after being taken to the hospital.
The two drivers, both Pakistani nationals who survived the crash, have been placed under provisional detention, Gulf News cited Salah Bu Farousha, Senior Chief Prosecutor and Head of Dubai Traffic Public Prosecution, as saying Saturday.
The bus crashed after the Dubai Club bridge on Emirates Road in the direction of Al Ruwaiyah, according to the Gulf News report.
