The sprawling Ramlila Maidan in the heart of the national capital is almost ready for Saturday’s swearing-in ceremony of Delhi Chief Minister-designate Arvind Kejriwal.

A Delhi government official said all the arrangements were in place at the venue, which is likely to be thronged by thousands.

Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and four Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislators will take oath at Ramlila Maidan.

“There will be adequate security. Several CCTV cameras have been installed at Ramlila Maidan,” the official said.

Besides, 16 LED TV screens have been installed so that people can watch the grand ceremony.

Mobile toilets will also be put into use.

Kejriwal and his ministers had resigned from their positions Feb 14 last year over the stalling of anti-graft Jan Lokpal legislation in the assembly. The AAP was returned with a thumping 67 seat majority in the 70 member assembly in the Feb 7 elections, the results of which were declared Feb 10.
