At least three small civilian drones flew over Paris’s iconic landmarks in the early hours of for a second night, Xinhua news agency reported citing French media.
Citing its own sources, the local broadcaster Europe1 said the drones were spotted over La Place de La Concorde.
The report added witnesses and police had filmed the drones and the film will be sent to the aviation police investigators to trace the operators.
Police has already been investigating who was behind some five separate drone flights over emblematic French places including the Eiffel Tower, the Place de la Concorde, the Invalides military museum and the American embassy Tuesday night.
French law bans small, civilian drones from areas such as nuclear facilities which are protected by no-fly zones.
Mysterious drone overflights in Paris are likely to test France’s security system after the government reinforced security measures and increased vigilance to preserve calm in the country which has been the target of terrorist cells following its military commitment in Iraq and the Sahel region.
