Renowned vocalist Loveleena Kumar who will be accompanied by Ustad Kiranpal on santoor and Hanif Khan on tabla and Rakesh on Harmonium will enthral the audience today evening at 6.30 pm at the Nehru Centre in London.
Loveleena Kumar is a student of late Ustad Munawar Ali Khan sahib of Patiala Gharana. She studied pure Patiala gayaki from him for ten years. Currently she is learning semi classical music from Savita ji of Benares Gharana.
Loveleena performs regularly in India, UK and USA both on stage and on TV shows. She has recorded 4 ghazal albums with Anup Jalota and 3 videos for Zee TV and B4U . She sings globally for ISKCON temples and Chinmoy Mission and intends to continue her zest for music!
In 2014 Loveleena was awarded a women’s excellence award for her contribution as a classical singer in New Delhi in a star studded event. Loveleena intends to entertain her audiences on her musical journey.
