First Annual Dubai Property Show Hits London on Feb 27th at London Olympia. The exhibition will last till Sunday
Sumansa Exhibitions, the producer and organisers of global property and consumer shows, have announced the first annual Dubai Property Show (DPS), taking place at the iconic London Olympia from February 27th-March 1st. The free event will host over 120 exhibitors, offering private islands, beach resorts and luxury villas, as well as a selection of posh budget options, to suit every investor’s needs.
Dubai is now the Brit’s third most preferred destination to invest in and this three-day show will offer prospective buyers direct access to every part of the regions real estate industry, from consultants and brokers to developers and marketing agents.
A bustling metropolis and poised to take advantage of a revival of fortunes, Dubai is the favoured destination for Britons looking to live, work and invest long-term. According to the Dubai Land Department, British investors were in second place for foreign investment (second to India), with 3,747 transactions worth Dh9.318 billion in 2014.
Last year, the UAE was selected to host the World Expo in Dubai in 2020, making it the first time that the cultural exhibition is staged in the Middle East. Drawing global attention, the Expo 2020 Dubai is expected to attract 25 million visitors, 70 per cent of whom will be from overseas.
Most recently, Dubai International Airport overtook Heathrow as the busiest airport in the world. A total of 68.9 million passengers passed through DIA, compared with 67.8 million at Heathrow, as of December 22nd 2014, again testifying to the rapidly growing popularity of the region and the incentive to invest.
