Visitors to this year’s Blenheim Palace Flower Show are in for a feast of amazing spaces when it returns to the Oxfordshire stately home on 19-21 June. Forget any thoughts of humble storage huts, exhibitors will be amazing the crowds with the grandest of structures to transform the space and use of any garden.
From artic cabins and summer houses to contemporary office alternatives and bespoke tree and play houses, this show, , really will have it all.
Derbyshire-based barbeque cabin manufacturer and retailer Artic Cabins, who enjoyed record sales throughout 2014, will be displaying one of its 10-metre cabins, which effortlessly seats 15 people in a cosy, intimate and fun environment.
The company’s Marketing Manager, Louise Jones, said: “We often hear that people have been looking at conservatories but as they get very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, they actually prefer our cabins because they are for all year round. And they aren’t just for barbecuing! Thanks to the special adaptable benches they are also great for sleepovers, creating a teenage den, a unique guest room or a very impressive man cave.”
Lisa Goddard, Company Secretary of Enchanted Creations, who are the UK’s only manufacturer of amazing bespoke wooden whimsical children’s playhouses, tree houses, towers and playgrounds have also seen their business grow year-on-year.
She said: “When people discover our play and tree houses they just fall in love with them because they are so unique and they can be designed to meet any individual or exacting requirements. We really don’t have to hard sell because, as soon as they see them, they think ‘I just want one!’”
Away from the grand structures and to join in the palace’s events marking Sir Winston Churchill’s commemorative year, the 2015 show will be paying homage to the wartime hero and great British icon who died 50 years ago.
At the heart of the much anticipated three-day event will be a 25,000 square foot ‘Victory Pavilion’ featuring over 40 stunning floral displays and a huge selection of plants from the UK’s finest nurseries at special event prices.
Visitors can enjoy a stroll down ‘Winston’s Way’ and ‘Churchill’s Crescent’ to discover the inspiring show gardens displaying breath-taking outdoor spaces by some of the UK’s finest landscape designers, browse and purchase the latest products from over 300 floral and garden exhibitors or indulge in some of the finest foods and nibbles.
