Emiratis urged to leave Lebanon

The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised citizens not to travel to Lebanon at this time due to the  the unstable security situation there.

UAE’s Charge D’Affaires in Lebanon Hamad Mohammed Al Junaibi urged the Emirati citizens who are in Lebanon to leave the country immediately and to coordinate with the UAE embassy in Beirut to facilitate their departure process.

He also called on the UAE citizens in Lebanon to call the number 0096118570000 or to contact the operations department at the ministry on the number 02 4449600 and advised citizens to comply with this warning until further notice and to be cautious when travelling outside the country. Citizens travelling abroad were also advised to read the travel advice page at the ministry’s website and to enroll in the Tawjdi service program.
