Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi finally travelled in the Delhi metro!
It was a big news in India but invoked cynical comments in other parts of the world. Most of the seats in his carriage and the nearby one was nearly empty. The pic clearly shows the presence of security guards all around the place!

Modi travelled from Dhaula Kuan to Dwarka and shared a picture on social networking site Twitter. “Really enjoyed the ride. Thanks Delhi Metro. Thanks Sreedharan ji!,” tweeted the prime minister. Great….
In another tweet, Modi said: “Sreedharan ji would always tell me to experience the Delhi Metro. Today I had the opportunity to do so on the way to Dwarka.”
Former Delhi metro chief E. Sreedharan is popularly known as the “Metro Man”.
