Cobra Beer of Lord Bilimoria is launching a nationwide campaign to allow chefs from 7000 restaurants to share their skills with one another in an effort to combat the increasing shortage of skilled chefs. This initiative will be launched on Monday 15th June at the Cinnamon Kitchen in London, reports Asian Lite best newspaper for British Asians
Lord Bilimoria, Founder of Cobra Beer, will be joined by some of the professional chefs involved in the programme – including Vivek Singh (Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Soho, Cinnamon Kitchen) and Cyrus Todiwala (Café Spice Namaste) – and Pasha Khandaker, the President of the Bangladeshi Caterers Association to present the initiative. Atul Kochhar, Vivek Singh, Mehernosh Moody, Vineet Bhatia and Alfred Prasad are also amongst the professional chefs who will be sharing their tips to help equip ethnic restaurant chefs across the UK.
Restaurants who have already trialled the scheme will also be present. Cobra Beer has invited 7,000 restaurants across the nation to join in a shared learning experience at no expense. Participating restaurants will be grouped in sets of approximately five by location and take part in a session split over a number of days in a host restaurant kitchen, inform Cobra officials.
