Xu Wenyi’s cave house in Xiangtan County, central China’s Hunan Province. Xu Wenyi, 57 years old, digged a cave for living on a hill in Xiangtan County after divorce. Measured three to four meters in width and about 30 meters in depth, the cave, which he called the “Xiyan Cave”, costed him six years for digging and now he has lived in it himself for 11 years.
