Indian Street food at East End

Indi.go launched a new branch of its street for eatery in at the cultural heart of London’s East End. The launch party was attended professionals and celebrities  including singer Leo ‘ The Lion’ lhenacho, TV personality Josh Smith, comedian Salman Malik, alongside Munsur Ali, Photographer Monir Ali, Dilruba Yasmeen Ruhee, Hassan Khan and Ashanti Omaker.

Guests were treated to street food canapés, cocktails, with music from celebrated DJ Ritu. Rushanara Ali, MP for Bethnal Green & Bow, thanked indi.go for the contribution it had already made to the local community, including the creation of a number of new jobs, and remarked that this latest opening augured well for future expansion on the indi.go brand. With five restaurants within the group, she added that indi.go had raised the profile of Indian street food staples, securing its position on the high street.

Indi.go’s expansion is further proof of the British love of Indian food, with a regular customer base quickly forming at Rich Mix, for their daily dosa, samosa chaat and papdi chaat. Rich Mix is a charity and social enterprise that offers live music, film, dance, theatre, comedy, spoken word and a range of creative activities for people of all ages.
