Vidya Balan, who plays a detective in “Bobby Jasoos”, portrays several avatars to solve cases in the film, which has been directed by debutant Samar Shaikh. The film is all set to hit screens on 4 July. “Bobby Jasoos” is co-produced by Dia Mirza and her fiance Sahil Sangha under the banner Born Free Entertainment and presented by Reliance Entertainment.
“The film’s clever promotion has hooked people from the film industry as well as the fans and audience. The response has been overwhelming,” Sangha said.
The actress underwent various look tests to get it perfect and surprise her fans while promoting her films in various locations. The “Kahaani” actress was seen performing a promotional stunt for Salman Khan’s upcoming movie “Kick”.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan was also fooled by prankster Balan, who dressed as a beggar approached the actor while he was shooting for a film at a studio.
Roshan was shocked when the beggar refused to leave till the star offered alms. It was only when the unit members and the security staff started laughing that Roshan realised that he had been fooled.
The actress was also seen promoting her film in “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa – 7” disguised as the twin sister of comedian Palak (Kiku Sharda). She stunned the audience and the entire team of the dance reality show as no one could recognize her.
