The much-awaited trailer of Prabhu Deva’s next Action Jackson was finally released yesterday at a multiplex in suburban Mumbai. Ajay Devgn, Yami Gautam, newbie Manasvi Mamgai, Kunaal Roy Kapur and the director of the film were all present at the event.
However, what caught everyone’s attention was Sonakshi Sinha’s absence. The Dabangg babe didn’t turn up for the trailer launch even though she was in the city. In fact, Ms Sinha was super excited about the trailer coming out and had been tweeting about it for the past few days. So it was although more surprising that she gave the event a miss. But the big question is why?
Well, we hear Shatrughan Sinha’s beti was not happy about the way she was presented in the film’s posters. Apparently, the leggy lass felt she wasn’t given enough prominence in the posters and she wanted to express her disappointment. Hence she decided to stay away from the trailer launch. While talking to a leading tabloid, a source said, “It came as a shock when she played truant after announcing on Twitter how much she is looking forward to it. After the posters were unveiled yesterday, Sona felt she had been given the short shrift. She appeared as just one of the girls along with Yaami Gautam and newbie Manasvi Mamgain. Clearly, this is not what she had bargained for.”
The source further added, “Sona wanted to show her resentment by being absent from the event. The posters made it out to be Devgn’s film alone.” But on the other hand the actress’ spokesperson had a different story to present. She told the tabloid, “Sonakshi had some other commitments.”
