Actor and Smile Train goodwill ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her father Krishnaraj Rai during the celebration 20th anniversary of her Miss World Title win and father Krishnaraj Rai’s 76th birthday by gifting 100 surgeries to children suffering from cleft at Godrej Memorial Hospital in Mumbai.
Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated her father’s 76th birthday in Mumbai on Wednesday. The diva, with her dad Krishnaraj Rai spent time with children and will also sponsor 100 kids who need cleft surgeries.
The Bachchan bahu in fact had two reasons to celebrate the day, as 19 November also marked the 20th anniversary of the day she was crowned as Miss World 1994.
“Aishwarya has pledged her support by sponsoring surgeries of 100 children with cleft to mark the 20th anniversary of her winning the Miss World pageant and it’s also the eve of her father’s 76th birthday,” Deccan Chronicle quoted her spokesperson as saying.
“And her daughter’s Aaradhya’s 3rd birthday through her foundation ‘The Aishwarya Rai Foundation’ and she will also be meeting around 50-60 children to celebrate the day.”
A few days back, the diva celebrated her daughter’s Aaradhya’s birthday in a lavish manner and the event was attended by several celebs and their children.
